That same Nation owns and operates the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel in Tama, Iowa. It takes entry 01 because the publisher owns it, and any booking there profits the owner directly. We never present its placing as the verdict of a neutral test.
Where the money comes from
Referral commission keeps the lights on. A few links to hotel websites can include a tracking tag, and if someone books after clicking, a partner might pay the sheet a fee. Nobody pays more as a result. Stays at the Meskwaki hotel generate revenue for its owner, who is also our publisher.
Rates of commission are kept out of the ordering of entries two to ten. The Affiliate disclosure page explains the arrangement.
Selection criteria
Candidates are resort hotels in Iowa and neighbouring states with guest rooms on the property, and we describe them only as places to stay. Four questions shape the order: quality of the rooms, what the pools and spas offer across the seasons, what fills an evening, and how simple the journey in is.
- Facts are taken from each hotel's official website and rechecked shortly before publishing.
- A detail we cannot confirm is cut, or replaced with a prompt to ask.
- No room totals, rates, opening years or awards appear unless we are certain of them.
- Hotels receive no numeric marks or medals of merit from us, and we print no guest testimonials.
- Casino areas get one neutral line per entry, "Casino on site", and nothing more.
Experience and sourcing
The editors cover regional travel and hospitality and lean on primary material: hotel websites, official tourism bodies and the hotels' own written policies. When sources clash, we pick the more cautious wording and send you to the hotel for the last word.
Fixing mistakes
Rooms get refitted, restaurants change hands and rules get rewritten. Spot an error? Send the entry name and the change to contact@szerencsejatek-hu.shop. We weigh it against the hotel's published information and, if we got it wrong, amend the page and move the revision date at its top.
